Scope

WHIPSAW Apps provides this informational website about its apps and proposed projects. This notice covers the website and messages sent to website support. WHIPSAW LIFT has a separate app privacy policy covering its workout, Health, purchase and sharing features.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Loading a page involves sending technical request information, such as an IP address and browser request headers, to Cloudflare so it can serve and protect the site. Cloudflare's processing is described in its privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

Redirecting the bare domain

For requests to whipsawapps.com that are routed through redirect.pizza, that service redirects your browser securely to www.whipsawapps.com and receives the technical information needed to handle the request. Optional redirect analytics are disabled in our configuration. The provider states that it still stores the request date and full requested URL to count traffic against our plan. Avoid including personal or sensitive information in a website URL. Its processing is described at https://redirect.pizza/privacy-policy/. The separate Cloudflare Web Analytics opt-outs described below do not disable this necessary redirect processing.

Basic website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website visits and page performance. Cloudflare describes this service as not using cookies or browser storage for analytics and not tracking people across websites. We do not add advertising pixels, session recordings or individual visitor profiles. Our website skips its analytics script when the browser signals Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, and on page loads containing query strings or fragments. These choices can reduce the completeness of the statistics.

Your display preference

If you choose a light or dark theme, this website saves that preference in your browser's local storage. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data. The theme preference is not sent to WHIPSAW Apps by the theme feature.

Contacting us

If you email support@whipsawapps.com or info@whipsawapps.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request. Namecheap currently provides email forwarding for whipsawapps.com and processes incoming messages to forward them to our designated Gmail inbox. Google provides Gmail and processes and stores correspondence in that inbox. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, medical records or other sensitive personal information.

WHIPSAW Apps deletes customer support correspondence and associated personal information from its active support records 12 months after the support issue is resolved, unless a longer retention period is required by law. This is a manually administered policy; automatic deletion is not configured. Deletion includes support messages, attachments and related working copies under our control. Our email and storage providers may retain residual copies under their own backup, security or legal retention processes.

We keep an internal support register to track case identifiers, resolution dates, deletion deadlines and completed deletions. We use a scheduled reminder through OpenAI's Codex desktop app to check case identifiers and retention dates. For these reminders, we provide only case identifiers and dates, not support correspondence, attachments or the separate mapping to customer identities. Reminders do not delete messages.

No website accounts or referral enrollment

The website does not provide accounts, checkout, referral enrollment or public member rankings. Bird Dog Rewards is a proposal. No referral codes or memberships are issued by this website.
